IMPORTANT: If you reside within Spartanburg CITY limits, please call Spartanburg City Animal Control: (864) 582-1558. Animal Control will trap & bring in cats for TNR as grant funding allows. Alternatively, you may bring a cat yourself to Animal Allies if you are willing to pay the full $55 fee.
If you are a COUNTY resident, please continue reading below on how to borrow a trap.
Traps are available only to residents of Spartanburg county. The limit is 2 traps per person for a loan period of 3 weeks. An extension may be provided if needed for larger colonies; otherwise, please return your trap(s) on time (or early!) so that others can use them.
The suggested donation is $5 per trap, but it is not required for those who cannot afford it. Anything above the suggested donation is greatly appreciated as well, and will allow us to help even more feral cats in our community. Donations are non-refundable.

If you would like to borrow a trap, please complete the form below and I will respond within 1-2 business days. Please make sure you have permission from property owner first. Traps are only available for TNR purposes or if you are trying to trap your own personal indoor cat that has escaped. They are not for the purpose of trapping wildlife.
You must be able to pick up the trap from my home on the east side of Spartanburg. Please be respectful that I work full-time and do this on the side as a public service. Trap rentals are by appointment only, at my residence.

Trap rental includes the loan of 1 trap, lined with newspaper, and a cover. If trapping location is an apartment complex or business property, please get permission from management first before requesting a trap loan. If necessary, to prevent trap theft, we also have a limited supply of chains & padlocks available for loan. Canned food and extra newspaper is available upon request (no charge).
